Onsekizinci asır hattatlarından; aslı Diyarbekirlidir, sülüs ve nesih yazıyı memleketinde öğrenmişdir; hicrî 1162 (M. 1749) de seyahat ve ziyâret kasdı ile İstanbula gelmiş, fakat hastalanarak aynı yıl içinde İstanbulda misâfir iken vefat etmişdir.
