					HALİL EFENDİ (Müneccimbaşı) – Onsekizinci Yüzyıl hattatlarından,mutaflar kâhyalığı yapmış Mehmed Ağa adında birinin oğlu idi,sülüs ve nesih yazıyı devrinin ünlü sanatkârı Hoca Mehmed Rasim Efendiden öğrenmiş,medrese tahsili yapmış,nücum ilmi ile de meşgul olarak müneccimbaşılığa kadar yükselmişdi;ilmiye mesleğinde tedris yolunu seçmiş,1186 (1772-1773) da ölmüşdür,ölümünde Süleymaniye müderrisi idi.
