MEHMED HÂŞİMÎ ( Seyyid ) – On sekizinci yüzyılda yaşamış hattatlardan ; İstanbullu olub Yorgancı Mehmed adında birinin oğlu idi ; sülüs ve nesih yazıyı pek genc yaşında asrın büyük üstadlarından Hoca Mehmed Râsim Efendiden öğrenmişdi.Müstakimzâde Süleyman Sadeddin Efendi Tuhfei Hattâtin ismindeki meşhur eserini yazdığı sırada bu genc hattat Defterdarlık kaleminde kâtib yamağı şâkirdi (yamağı) bulunuyordu.
