NIZÂMİYE FİRKATEYNİ – Hicrî 1253 M. 1837-1838 yılında İstanbul Tersânesinde inşâ edilmişdir ;resmini çizen gemi mühendisi Ross,yapan gemi inşâiye kalfası Mehmed Kalfadır ;172 metre boyunda,53 metre eninde,64 toplu ve nefer mevcudu 540 olan bir harb gemisidir.Arab Kadri Bey Kaptanın idâresinde Sinop muhaârebesinde bulunmış ve batmışdır.Rusların bu liman baskınında şehid olan deniz ümeramızdan Riyâle Hüseyin Paşa bu Nızâmiye Firkateyninde bulunuyordu.İstanbul Ansiklopedisinin bu satırları vesîlei rahmet olsun.
